Except for a brief period of 5,000 mile oil changes my 300E has seen an oil change on an average of every 3,333 miles. There is now something like 316,000 miles on the odometer. I had a head corrosion issue at about 175,000 miles. It got a valve job at that point, but nothing done to the bottom. At that time the innards were SQUEAKY clean!
It is now at a point where it will not quite make that 3,333 miles without adding a quart before next oil change time.
