R12
Is it legal for a private party to sell R12 cans that were pre-ban purchased in the US. I have 12 cans of DuPont R12 still in the box. I would like to sell them but don't want to break any laws.

There is not a ban on R12. You have to be licensed to purchace.

i would think a private party could sell to a private party in this great country of ours...
i think the r-12 debate is overblown anyway.... i wonder how many of your neighbors pour oil down the drain or dump it in their back yard.... i don't want to get on a soap box about it, so i'll shut up for now.. jeez, i am starting to sound old.

To be legal the ebay sales only allowing selling to someone holding a 609. This may be violated on a regular basis for all I know, but it is the law.
