Fuse #50 (10A) in the rear fuse box, located behind the right rear footwell lamp.

Have you checked the vehicles' tool kit? That's where the factory fuse chart should be. If it's not, the previous owner probably used it to write a suicide note after trying to read it!!! With ~eighty fuses, and ~twenty relays (depending on optional equipment), in alphabetical order (not numerical), and in three languages, it's easier to call MB Roadside Assistance than find a fuse in a W220!!!

Thanks!! Fuse seems ok. Replaced with another, but no change. I'm thinking now the mechanic may have affected the wiring at the back of the switch when he was working on the Nav unit.

Have you had the Electronic Ignition switch (EIS) replaced by any chance? The reason I ask is because from reading through your previous posts, and other threads, I think you may want to check the programming/version coding of several control modules. Incorrect coding can cause strange things to happen.

You're a genius. I got a call from my mechanic today and with all that has been done to the car, the reprogramming for the screen was over looked. I did have a new ignition switch put in,however. It turned out to be faulty. And a second new switch was installed. Car runs beautifully...........so far
