I picked up some BP5ES plugs; I hope they will work. There is some question as to whether BP5 or BP6 is really equivalent.

BERU UXF79 from Kingsborne

Hi
I ordered those, they are non-resistor copper plugs. They were on stock and do fine in my 300TE.

What about Champion spark plugs? My manual list them along with bosch, and beru.

NGK is not even on the list!

Seem Bosch non-resistor spark plugs H9DC/ H9DCO are very hard to find in N/A for M103 engine...

The H8DC/H8DCO are very hard to find for M102 engine as well.

Lucky, i still have new 16's H8DC Bosch spark plugs left in my garage for my M102 engine (190E 2.3).

kingsborne.com is the only place that sells beru non-resistor spark plugs compatible to the bosch brand.

Per my owner's manual, my 89 260E W124 with 103 motor
may use Beru plug 14 K-9 DUO.

So are they the same as UXF79 from kingsborne.
The kingsborne does not list the price either.
Luckily I got 6 Bosch H9DC0 on ebay.co.uk Now they are sold out.

Those ultra X's are Brutally expensive... Plus, trying to get these plugs from Kingsborne is a royal PITA....

I've ordered 12pcs 14 K-9 DUO as listed in my ops manual at $3 a piece plus shipping. Warren the owner said it will take 14 days. Frustrating, but what can you do? Seems like no one else sells non resistors.

I've cancelled this order since I've found some. So, if anyone is in dire need of the equivalent of the bosch non resistor plug for W124 M103 motor, call kingsborne.com. I understand these plugs are already enroute from Germany.

I believe I found a solution:

NGK R5724-9

http://www.jegs.com/i/NGK+Spark+Plugs/739/R5724-9/10002/-1

going to test them out today and I'll reply back with results...

Interesting. Do you have them yet? Or are you just ordering some.

I have found Champion 12YYCC or something like that to work well (I'd have to pull the plug to see what the actual # is) Not sure if they are resistor or not (don't think they are).....it runs quite good on them. But they're old....so if these racing NGK's work well....I'll get some too!
