On my 91' 500SL I resently felt a little lost of power on acceleration, is happening more often every day, it happens between 1000 and 2000 RPM. Any ideas.

Thanks. Mike.

Sounds like a tune up to me. When was the last time you changed distributor, rotor, plugs, and wires? If done recently I would check fuel system. As far as I know this is still a CIS system.

Also it is a good idea to ohm the plug wires. The resistor ends on the wires are replaceable (just like on older models) and can/do go bad.

I'd try the fuel filter also.
