I have no reverse gear on my E320 1994, all other gear works fine, I read this is a weak spot on this cars, I want to know if there anyone with this problem and if there are some instruccion on how to take down the trasmission, Thanks in advance

Just hadda' replace my trans in my '93 400E about 4 months ago. Same symptoms. No reverse. My 400E only had 83K on the odometer.

why dont you repair the trans?? Thanks

A good independent tranny repairman can easily fix the problem at low cost relative to a new or rebuilt tranny. usually caused by cracked seal in front clutch, but may be 'B-1 piston failure--which can be fixed with tranny in car.

There is someplace were I can see a detail picture of the parts of the transmission, thanks in advance, other question where is located the B1 piston in the trans. Thanks
