Is it possible to test the motor of the central locking system pump by hooking it directly to the 12 volt battery? If so which connector powers the motor? There are two of them on the 87 300E. One connector is rectangular with two wires and the other is circular with 3 wires. One I suppose is for the alarm system... the other for the pump motor. I get no response from the motor.
Smiles.

The 2-pin connector is the power & ground, & the round 3-pin is the trigger wires from the 2 doors & trunk.
