Grill chroming how much?

I resently had the surround on my 113 rechromed as it had a small "bump". the cost to chrome the a pillars, the surround, and the "wings" was 650. The bump in the surround was not removed perfectly I'm wondering if this is "top dollar" I want to send it back just wondering how the cost factor on the chroming should be.
