AMG of NA - what years and who ran it?

Anyone know? I found some more info on my w123 AMG and I'm trying to confirm some things.

Brian, all I know is that Barry Taylor bought out the remaining stock of AMG of NA. He may be the guy to call and ask the questions.

Thanks, I have an email into him. I talked to the original owner of my AMG today and he told some good things about its history - I'm trying to check out his story against what's known about AMG of NA.

By the way, I can't get that freaking nut loose that holds the hub of the steering wheel. I busted my butt trying to break that free. Next step is an impact gun - I just don't have one here at home.

That nut is a PITA to remove...

Have the key in the ignition so the steering column is NOT locked. Then have a helper hold the steering wheel while you use a lot of force to get that sucker out. I was lucky and was able to do it all a lone on mine.

Send me an email... would like to hear the tid bit
