Brake dust issues is also a big topic over at the BMW forums. Most recommend Axxis Deluxe Pads which is the same as the PBR Deluxe Pads most are recommending here. For those who remember REPCO brake pads these are them. The Deluxe pads are made of organic material. no metal content thus minimum brake dust. For those who are using these Deluxe pads how do you like the brake feel, braking effort, and responsiveness? Do you guys notice significant fade during hard driving?

Exactly the same as OEM pads. No discernable difference.

They squeak when backing up but not during normal driving. I replaced the original rotors with Brembo. Brake feel is about the same, maybe a tiny amount more pressure is needed. I will get them again next time. Who drives their W126 hard??

They sound expensive. How do they compare price-wise with standard brakes?

I installed the deluxe pads...

they squeak when they are cold. The brake feeling is fine. I may put some more "brake quiet" paste in the near future to see if it helps...
