On My 92 400e, Its starts idles, and runs alright enough, but when I'm turning up the "juice", it just doesn't seem like its "winding up" fast enough. I often times will down shift to get the extra Oomph that I want when, say, passing on a two lane road. I just ordered wires, rotors and dist caps from Fast lane/parts shop. But was wondering if poor performing fuel injectors or Throttle body might also be contributing to this lack of Get up and go.

I doubt it.
Do you use high test gas? The car will retime itself for crummy gas and take away a bunch of power in the process. It senses pinging through the two knock sensors and times each cylinder separately retarded till the pings go away. It does this at levels way below human hearing so it isn't noticed. Just a thought. All the other things you mention would cause single cylinder misfires which would also reduce power, but your description doesn't sound like misfires just that you want more power.
