What can the burning smell possibility be? Can it be a 'melting" wiper motor?

if the burning smell only present when wiper on,otherwise a v/c gasket leaking onto hot exhaust manifold.

Have look to the exaust pipe a funny idea may be.
Once there was flying plastic bag was stuck on the exaust and was providing burning smell. good luck

the heater uses lots of outside air so still could be v/c gasket.
