I'm not sure about the oldr model Benzs, but on my 1997 C36, if the tire diameter is not the same as stock, my cruise failed abover 120km/hr.

I had winter tires on adn tried it and it doesn;t work but after i put my summer ones on...viola..fixed.

Found this out when i took it back to the dealer to see what wrong. Took them 4 hours to figure that out and wanted to charge me for the 4 hours. I complained to the service manager and all he could basically give me was the finger. Sad but true.
