I have three older Mercedes, A 1980 300SD, a 1981 240D and a 1983 240D. I have heard that seat belts are not effective after about 10 years.
How difficult is it to replace the seat belts adn what is involved? |

I have never heard that you need to replace them, I know that you need to replace airbags after 15 years.

That's news to me. It's not like the webbing will of detorated over the years. Unless yours are frayed, I would leave them alone.
