I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, if the car has the original engine wiring harness, that could be your problem. Search the forum and you'll find more then you ever wanted to know about it.

If it is the OVP relay, what are the causes that will make the car stall?

also what is the c280 sequence to reset the alarm? is it lock the door, unlock the doors FROM the trunk. and try to start the engine. usually if i perform this sequence i can restart the car again.
