Check out this Flex-Disc . . .
Today, while at my tech's shop, a '95 E320 drove in with some 'drive' problems.
He said . . "it was thumping alot a few days ago but then it stopped". Car has 120K miles and the "part" is original. We put the car on the rack. . . and here's what we saw. . . Are you ready??? Hard to belive you could still drive the car. . .  The picture shows it in contrast to a new one! . . . thousands of nylon 'strings'! . . .
