Fan Clutch Removal 400E

Hi; I have a 92 400E and can not get the bolt holding the fan clutch assembly to break. I believe it removes counterclockwist but have not been able to break it free. Is this the right direction. Thanks for any help.

Brian

counter is correct..

did you make the 6mm tool with the proper bend to place behind the clutch plate to hold the fan and clutch?

I have the clutch stablized and am applying what should be alot more ft lbs than should be needed to loosen the bolt. That's why I am wondering if the bolt is left threaded.(counterclockwise)
Thanks for the help.
