Does anyone know the size and type of wrench needed to remove the nut on the inside not the 12mm allen wrench. It looks like a very large Torx the manual says 17mm pin wrench but i cant find anything like it. Also does anyone know how you can lock the flywheel to remove the bolt at the Harmonic Balancer without the 150$ flywheel lock.
Thanks Dave |

I believe the hex-head of a 17mm hexbolt will fit, otherwise it is a fairly large Torx/star tool.
Good luck, Neil |

Snap-On tools sells it. It's a 17MM allen socket used for VW transmission drain plugs. It works perfect or you can take a short 10MM bolt and lock 2 nuts with 17MM outside size and lock them together
