560 SEC gas smell

Hi!

I recently replaced the fuel pressure regulator on our 89 560 SEC for hard starting, fuel smell and occasional sputtering/loss of acceleration on the highway. Acceleration seems better but the fuel smell is still there. I checked my hoses going to the regulator and they don't seem to be leaking.

Any suggestions on where else a leak might be in the engine compartment area?

Thanks.

-m
