Follow the attached procedure

1) Put on a Wonderbra 1 size too small
2) Put on a silk blouse and open the front to the 3rd button from the top down
3) Tuck bottom tightly into pair of jeans that are low rise ass huggers
4) Approach Service manager at your local MB Dealer
5) Facing him/her bend over and say in a hushed voice...
6) I'm having a wee problem with my Benz, can you pleeeze help me?

Should do the trick!

The dealer should be able to get you the radio code with proof of ownership and your vin.

The key should be PNP if was purchased from the dealer. If purchased from eBay, its a pretty paperweight.

There are idiots on every forum. Your, and every other dealer has acess to your code for the radio unless it has been changed privetaly.
I do find fault in everyone who asks "what is my radio code" if you ever used a dealer they can pull it up in the MVI and give it to you.

The key was either programed correctly and therefore will work, or it wasn't and won't.

I just called the dealership in my area , Inskip Mercedes Benz .......... they told me that even though I paid $128 from them for the key , it would cost an addtional $58 to sync it ............. does that sound fair ??? ............why ???? doesn't make sense , ............ and they told me that they would give me the security code for the radio with the Vin # , why would they sell a key for $128 without it working right ???? stupid !!!!!!!!! dealership !!!!!!!!!! ....money money money , they all want my money !!

You won't get a lot of argument about that here.
