Can anyone tell me how to disassemble the dash?

Hi guys,
another thing... when they replaced my tumbler for my ignition, they didnt put back my dash right. the bottom knee bolster and the side panels dont alighn correctly.... and neither did the new ignition tumbler.. its sort of askew... so I was wondering where the location for the screws are to remove at least the bottom half of the driver's side area.

Also, there is a noise coming from my A/C fan at low speeds... sounds like something is touch ing the fan blade... is it accessible through the glove compartment?

Thanks again~~~

manny

I would take it back to the place and make them fix it properly!!
But if you really want to do it yourself, I can tell you exactly how. Just be sure and tell me exactly what panels you want taken off. But I encourage to make the shop put it back correctly. Was it an MB dealer?
What was wrong with your ignition? Did it get stuck? Did you have a heavy key chain? How much did it cost you?

david...

the place is a former dealership.. they had their dealership revoked because they didnt sell enough cars since this is such a small island... but anyway, yup.. my ignition got stuck... it cost a thousand dollars for it to be fixed... no we dont have any keychains added to the key.. we had a leather cover that covered the key so no other keys could be put together with it... so I dont know why it broke...

I'll try to bring it back today.. but it's been a month since they fixed the thing... and they might deny that they did any of the damage... so If they do... I'll be in touch!! thanks!!!

Guess what!!!

The mechanic is denying that the job was done by them. They were claiming that the Knee bolster was modified by some "inexperienced mechanic".... DUH... they replaced it two years ago because they broke the damn piece!!! Now they say they can't warranty it because it's been too long and it's been modified...

What to do now? any lawyers on this forum? Do I have a case here?
