RCL (Remote Control Locking) causes...

Can your theft system cause your car not to start? i have a 96' W202 and i scanned the car with our scanner and the only code it came up with is that: Attempted to start with (RCL) locked. So is this the reason why my car isnt firing up and not getting power to the injetors?

My '96 210.020 lites up the rear view mirror with alternating green and red lamps if I attempt a start with DAS negative authorization. No fuel is injected in this condition.

So this means that the fuel injector problem i have is another problem?

Yes.

Matt - MBDOC answered his question on another thread where the poster advised he replaced the ECU with a used unit.
