There are the ebay remotes for sale, however i've been told that you then need to go to the MB dealership to have them reprogrammed. There is no guarantee that the remotes will work or be able to be reprogrammed. Also, the ebay remotes usually come with a new blade which needs to be cut. I have yet to find a locksmith that has the capabilities to be able to cut this key. Any tips?

The MB dealership wants way too much $250+ for a replacement remote, of which they will charge another $80 to have it programmed (no remotes from MB do not come programmed). MB also claims that once the replacement key is activated, one of the original keys must be deactivated. There can only be 2 keys activated / vehicle? is this true? Also MB dealership claims that they do not have capability to cut a new blade either.
