Front Flex Disk - No German writing - Which Way?

I am about to install a new drive shaft plus front and rear flex disks in my '87 300E. Based on the forum posts, I read several references to the front flex disk having a front and back side. I think the "German" writing is supposed to face the back of the car. My new flex disk (URO Parts) only has the part number stamped on the disk. No German writing. Does anyone know if there is a way to tell the front and back?
