2005 e 320 SBC brake pad replacement
I've read several of the threads, is there a safe way of a diy brake pad renewal without danger? Is there a step by step procedure, if so can someone point me to it.

Just disconnect the big connector from the front side of the SBC unit. I wouldn't open any doors while working, either. IIRC, there's a plastic lock on the connector that slides open to unlock, and then is slud shut to lock it back when you're done. (I remember Dizzy Dean) You DO NOT want to break this. There's likely a cable tie that makes working with this difficult--I haven't cut mine but you might have to.

Thanks
Did the brakes this morning, unplugged the power to the sbc, locked the car, did the brakes, very easy and seems safe with the power disconnected.
