Trans Kit - No Plugs

86 300e - auto trans. I plan to drain and fill trans soon (replacing filter), just received the kit and it did not include plugs. Is it ok to use old plugs when draining trans and converter. What are the torque settings for pan and plugs. Thanks

You will reuse the plugs, but replace the seals on the plugs. Use the copper one on the pan and the aluminum one on the converter.

Larry:
Torque on both of those is 14 nm. The pan bolts I usually torque to 10 nm, officially I believe it's 8nm, but the plugs are both 14.
