MB has a documented warrantee policy.
They do extend goodwill. Buy 4-5 new cars from them, have them all serviced at the dealer being solicited, and have less than 100k or 10 years on them would be a good start. Interesting concept for the second, third, whatever owner of a 15 year old vehicle to expect warrantee coverage. Many manufacturers wouldn't even build replacement parts for a car that old.
