1984 500SEL European model

There is a red warning light on the dash that has the letters "RS" in it, I was wondering what this means.

Everything seems to be working ok, and the light next to it which shows a picture of the car isn't lit, anyone have any idea?

I believe RS is the restraint system including the seat belts and air bag. It might also indicate ABS problems. I don't know what would cause it to light.
