I am trying to start up my 1993 400SEL but the red indicator lamp is constantly on (not blinking) It is also draining my battery and I cannot currently start the car. I have tried open and closing the doors with the transmittor and also by the key itself. I have tried every option of closing every door and opening from both inside and out, including the trunk and the red indicator light still stays on.

I also tried pulling the fuse in the trunk and the light went off, but I couldnt get the car to start.

How can I fix this? Thanks in advance
