Yes, the W140 chassis ran from 1992-1999.
![]() And what's interesting is that even though the other chassis went to the M113 V6 in 1998, W140 S320 chassis cars kept the 3.2 liter M104 straight 6 engine until the end of the model run in 1999.

Transmission fluid and filter change. Radiator coolant flush R&R Check belts / hoses.

Almost the same thing as with the 126 to 140 transition - both 119 and 104 motors were available in MY 1990 but the 126 stuck with the prior generation motors.
