Deleting Bulb Out Dash Display /W208 & LED's
In a 03 W208 (Cab 430) is there any way to run LED's, (WITHOUT A RESISTOR) and not get bulb out dash display warning? I'd just prefer not to use resistors if I could permanently avoid "bulb out" But I also dont want to run oem in parallel either. Any replies appreciated.

I highly doubt it, unless you can find a way to disable the bulb-out checking function itself....but its probably part of the computer. Resistors are probably the only way to go, or to live with the lamp warning.

I'm already running 2 sets of LED's w/resistors and it works, I just want to try something without the heat resistors draw. Wondered if anybody found a way to bypass/trick the ECU somehow without the heat of resistors.
Display is primary and shows everything, mi, info, service info, stereo. |
