Momentary hiccup

I have been restoring a badly abused '93 300CE since February. We are going on a extended trip in a few weeks and I am planning to use this car instead of my E420.
Saturday I took a friend to Parker, AZ for a memorial service and thought this would be a good shake down cruise. Parker is about 200 miles from here. To add to the excitement it was 114F a good part of the day. The car performed beautifully, ran a little hot but not dangerously and the AC kept us comfortable.
On the way back with the cruise control set on 78mph, the car hiccuped once. It happened so fast that I didn't have time to analyze it but I later thought it might have been fuel related. I was running a bottle of Techron Fuel System Cleaner at the time.
Any ideas?
