Michael,
The repeated soaking with carb cleaner and the application of compressed air resulted in clearing the blockage. Looking at the diagram that Dave provided, the flexible cable was not getting far enough down the tube (part # 11) to do the job. The tube extends beyond the lower flange and I didn't take that into account. - Forrest
