Recurring check engine light, W210 6 cyl--
97 E320, about 60k. Runs really well with no problems, then for some mysterious reason will run poorly for a short period of time, illuminating check light, then will straighten itself out. Have (I thought) cleared all fault codes, but re-appears. Suggestions? Thanks---

Mine did the same a while ago at 56kmi.
Turned out to be the mass airflow sensor. Not cheap and it fails very frequently, thanks to another common MB designing marvel.

What code comes up?? P0 170 would be air mass sensor OR fuel pressure problem!
