If you are going to keep the car for a good while, I would do the head. The seals, at that milage, would be a temporary fix.
It sounds like you are determined to do it yourself. Well...try it. Take out the head and send it to a machine shop to rebuilt it. In the meantime, change the rest of the stuff you want to do.
I am a DIY'er and I love to work on my car (not to mention the money I saved) but, I know my limitations.
The inside of the engine and the transmission is a BIG NO, NO for me. Everything else is fair game...

I am definitley keeping this car until I get my degree and then I am turning it into a track car. It has a great chasis and it could make a real nice race car. But for now I want keep it a daily driver... As a DIY'er, so far I have done all the work on my car myself. I just dont know if I can afford the cylinder head rebuild. Well How much does it really cost to have a shop rebuild it for me?

You get what you pay for. Guide seals may not last long but changing them is cheep and easy.
