Repack Front Wheel Bearings With Brake Job
Is it common practice to repack the front wheel bearings when doing a brake job?
Since I have the rotors turned when doing a brake job it seems practical to repack the front wheel bearings at the same time. What do the Mercedes dealers/independents recommend?

It is my opinion that anytime the rotors are off then you should do the wheel bearings - clean, inspect and repack. Replace if questionable.

On early models where the hub comes off with the rotor and the bearings are exposed, one should definitely repack.
On later cars the disc comes off without disturbing the bearings and it is not standard practice to repack. I'm not sure but the 210 chassis might even have sealed front bearings all BMWs do.
