Different part #'s for 92 400E rotors??
I was shopping for braks rotors for my 1992 400E and I got two different part #'s for them??? Also anyone have any experience with Centric rotor?

I believe there were both a single mass and a dual mass rotor offered, just use the 1994 E420 part number for the dual mass (better) rotors.

At one point during the production of the 400E, there was a front brake caliper and rotor part change at the factory. Your best bet would be to source via chassis serial number.

^ 93 was the production year changeover. A 92 caliper will NOT fit a 93 rotor. A 93 caliper will fit a 92 rotor, but you run risks when the pads get low...
So for the OP -- You need to get a 92 rotor (295mm x 22mm)

you 100% positive about that?
I have a 1992 caliper on a 1994 rotor and even though it was designed for a thinner rotor, it fits fine with OE pads and the balance is spot-on
