k and n drop in filter
I just ordered a K+N drop in air filter for my 1990 300ce-24. I was wondering what kind of differenceI am going to feel if any. Is there going to be any hp increases or have I just wasted 60 dollars? Thank you guys...

I put one in mine...
You will hear the engine a little bit more. Hard to "feel" any HP increase without a dyno but, at least, I do not have to buy a new filter for another million miles.

If You Bought It Purely For Horsepower...
You probably just wasted $60.00. But if you coated it properly with the K&N oil, and are willing to clean and recoat it as required, when you consider the superior air flow, filtration, and savings over buying paper filters (as well as the environmental aspects), you did real good.
Give it time, measure your fuel consumption, and see how it works out over time. Then report in and let us know what you think.

and don't forget to put the stickers on the airbox - those alone are good for an extra .05 hp! :p

Only .05 hp on the airbox? Is that all? If you put the sticker on the fender it's good for .06 hp! Guaranteed.
