Looking at a set of these anyone run these on there benz??

Nope,

I know a few ppl trying ceramics... performance guys like portorfields and mintex(sp?).

mintex!!! I use to run those on my vw's. flushed the brakes the other night seem to help alot!!!! might weight on the pads until summer they got somemeat left on them, but the brakes felt awful before I did the flush!

Best to use genuine MB or Textar brake pads. Metallic brake pads will wear the rotors prematurely.

I tried to find the Textar pads, with no luck! Most sites that had them had the back pads only ????

Benzautoparts same thing backs no fronts???? Strangness continues

I used a set of SBS red and they are loud and really hard on rotors.

Since I don't track my old Benz, or live in the Rocky mountains, I found the PBR pads to be the best choice for me. These pads DO NOT DUST like all the others, and don't squeal or eat rotors any worse. They do require a tad more pedal pressure for the first mile, but not much. They will easily take all four wheel into ABS lockup from over 80 MPH (I tried it), and exhibit no problems in driving rain. So, I see no compromise, just a LOOOOOOOOT less dust to clean. As I said, if I tracked my 20-year-old car, or drove really hard down mountains, I might not use these.

Finally decided to, pick up a set of the Rotex pads. They are quiet and the brake feel is much better. Seems like are good pad for the money
