Plug wire Ohms

I'm going to take some time tomorrow to evaluate my ignition system. That is check the plugs, check the resistance of the wires, and then determine if anything NEEDS to be replaced..

What should the Resistance figures be for the spark plug wires be?

MB uses stranded copper core wires. The wire itself should have less that 1 OHM.

The ends are resistors & can be 1K, 2K, or 5K depending on the year & model.

I believe they usually have it written on the wire itself.
