w126 trans issue AFTER IP r&r for reseal
Back in January i r&r and resealed my 603 IP due to leaking seals, Amazingly after much cranking she started right up for me a bit rough till the air got out but not pretty smooth and no leaks. Trans seemed to shift a bit wierd, im going to assume that perhaps i knocked one of the connecting linkages/rods while R&R the IP. How do i do about adjusting this? i cant find anything on the forum unless i missed a post. Why may you ask did i wait 2 months to jack with this? i was out of town on business and just got back. Car started right up for me after sitting outside (thanks brand new interstate i got in Dec) and i drove it around a bit and still it shifts high in the rpm range but seems a bit sluggish.
I did loose some ftrans fluid, that has been replaced, i drove it quite a bit 15 miles maybe stopping to add fluid and its full on the mark now. it has always leaked trans fluid sparatically. ive changed the pan gasket a few times i think its just the angle of my drive way. in any event seems as thos this isnt a fluid issue, just that is over revs before shifting yet is sluggish and seems under fueled. sorry if this is confusing, i confuse myself at times too

Here are a couple of threads for reading material.
I haven't actually done these procedures, so I can't say what actually works, but I'd seen them and read them, prior to working through the shift issues on my 300SD. Transmission: It's CRITICAL... how you set your transmission's vacuum system on your diesel MBZ...
