If the M111 is anything like the M102, M103, M104 or M119, find the blue 2 prong temperature sensor on the cylinder head and add a resistor parallel to the sensor. On my M103 I used a 860ohm resistor to bring the trigger temp down from 105c down to 90c. On the M119 they added a 1.1k ohm to bring the trigger temp down from 100c to 92c. Its a really simple modification that should work on all of the early 90s motors.

Is it meant to be in the cylinder head or the thermostat housing?
I'll have a look under the hood tomorrow

I didn't find anything...
Even the thermostat housing has no sensors on it... Where can it be?
