Blower possessed
The blower on my 190E '92 became possessed this weekend. It will randomly decide to come on full blast. I haven't been able to identify any trend (engine speed, road bumps, etc.) It will do this whether the climate control is on or switched off. I wasn't able to find any threads on random hauntings so any help will be appreciated.

I don't actually know if the 190E has the 5-button climate control system pushbuttons like the 300-series cars, but your problem sounds very much like the one I discuss in this thread:
Successful Climate Control Button Unit Overhaul A fairly agressive do-it-yourself job, but no special tools required unless you need a small soldering iron. So far it seems to have completely fixed by '87 300D climate control demons - and I'm planning to exorcise the '82 300D demons next.  Ken300D
