ok guys...last year on my 1987 420sel i had the front end bushings tie rods all replaced....
did not get the guide rod bushing replaced at the same time... am in the process of receiving them.... today looked at my left fron tire and noticed severe wear on the outside treads.... ??? is that caused by the poor guide rod bushing and shaking of the tire when applying the brakes? if so then i can solve the problem as i am waiting on the bushings lyle in austin |

Hi Lyle - I'm no expert or owner of your car but it sounds to me like you've got the camber / tracking incorrectly set. Was it checked after you did or had the work on the tie rods done?
