rustproofing ideas

Anyone have any ideas what would be good to spray (I have a compressor) under my 300E to keep rust away? it's a low mileage 1988 and here in MA the roads are salted. I want to keep this car for a very long time. Thanks.

I though the factory sealing was pretty good on W124's. Make sure all the seams sealer is good- don't want spring perchs rusting off. Clean the fender drains in the front and use some wax on threads (wurth sells it in a can).

Besides that... you'll have to ask around in the rust belt. Might as the MB body shop were they rust first??
