Rattling sound
My 85 190E 2.3 (125 K miles) has developed a loud rattle. It comes from the driver side, probably front, whenever the car goes over any bumps on the road. On a smooth road, there's no rattle at all. Also, If I am turning (either side), then the rattle is not there, even if the road is bumpy. The rattle has been there the last few months, but over the last few weeks it has gotten worse. Also, and this may just be my imagination, the rattle feels louder on colder days.
What could it be? Thanks.
