Repairing ABS **PLEASE HELP**

Hey i posted a thread awhile ago but i didn't get the right info, so im gonna try again. Does anyone know if it's possible to repair the ABS control unit or what to look for if it sparaticlly goes on and off? Im really trying to avoid all extra expensies. Don'y worry about tools i have all the necessary tools. Oh yeah and i don't care how advanced this job is, i just need some info.

If anyone has ANY idea at all PLEASE post it.
