To add to your diesel discussion there, the CDIs are not available here because of our high sulfur content diesel. It ruins the CDI's catalytic converter. They have had them here for test drive, but obviously had to ship the euro diesel with it as well I am guessing. I was driving next to a new Jetta TDI and you could tell it was diesel, but it was quiet compared to mine, and much faster! Gaurantee it gets better mileage than mine. I get 29 on a 'bad' fill up and 35 on a good fill up both with city driving. Depends on how I drive.

86 300E
1986 300E - clock stoped at 121000 miles, but has around 200.000.
  This is my second Benz. The first was an Norwegian 85 200T (W123) which was sold at around 380.000 km. Third Benz I don't have pictures of yet, but is an 87 560SEL I just got (145k miles). And here's my Swedish Bimmer... 91 750iAL (218000 km)  Sneaking it in here since I saw another Bimmer picture too  The BMW is for sale over there. Couldn't bring it with me to the states when I moved here  Miss the power and comfort. Hopefully the 560SEL will be a good substitute when I am done with it Found a picture of the first 85 200T benz too...
