MikeMover , It was the original untill about 2 years ago. I just got tired of buffing the old paint out every 6 months. It now has about 4 coats of PPG urathane enamel on it, and it does look as good as the picture. The paint and just about every other part on the car is new, still cheaper than buying a new one.

Talking Nice cars...

For Ernesto,
I like the monotone look and the wheels of your car.
How is the paint holding up on your bumpers and what kind of wheels are those?
Thanks!

Dear J Hidalgo,

Thank you for your nice comments. The wheels are Brabus Monoblock IV 17 X 8. The paint is holding up great! I had the car painted in Mexico City 5 years ago with a certified Standox body shop. Standox is a very popular paint technology used in Europe, not very popular here in the US. However, all professional body shops here in the US are aware of this thechnology. Standox has a flexing agent that enables you to paint a sponge which you can squeeze after the paint is dry without it peeling off.

I'm not really good at taking pictures with these digi-cams (this one I borrowed from a friend), so I screwed up the first time when it was brighter out.

So here are some early evening shots...

The wife's cruiser...
