Question Price for timing chain and rails on 560sl--SF, CA area

Happily I don't have to do this work today, I was quoted $1,200 to replace the timing chain, rails and I the tensioner on a 1987 560sl, 91K miles. High end reputable shop in Oakland. For those of you who pay the outrageous labor costs of the Bay Area, does this sound high? Have you had it done elsewhere for less?

Thanks!
